AIBE is conducted to examine whether or not an advocate is eligible to practise law in India. The AIBE will test basic skills and is intended to set a minimum bar for admission to the practise of law; it will evaluate a candidate's analytical ability and comprehension of basic legal knowledge.

"Certificate of Practice '' is awarded after clearing the exam. It is conducted in 40 cities all across India. The Legal Education Committee and members of the Bar Council of India passed the notice taking the All India Bar Examination into force at duly convened meetings on April 10, 2010 and April 30, 2010.

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has announced that the All India Bar Examination16, or AIBE XVI, will be held on May 30. The exam was originally set for April 30. The BCI postponed the exam in March, stating that the new date will be revealed later.

The deadline for applications had also been extended to April 30 by the council. The exam fee can now be charged until May 4th, according to the new timetable. On May 12th, admit cards will be distributed.

From December 16 to April 30, applicants should apply for AIBE XVI.

For AIBE registration, one must have an enrollment certificate. Additionally, when filling out the AIBE XVI application form, you must upload a copy of your enrollment certificate.
