ICSE and ISC students' grades can be determined by their performance in online class.
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) cancelled the ICSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021, shortly after CBSE cancelled the CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021, during the second wave of Covid. Although the ICSE Class 10 exams have been cancelled, a final decision on the ISC Class 12 examinations will be made.
The council has requested that schools include the average marks that students received in internal exams in Class 9 and 10 in each subject so that an evaluation criteria for preparing Class 10 results can be established. While the council has agreed to announce the results using a logical and rational standard, the decision on the conduct of 12 exams will be made in the first week of June.
The board has given students in class 10 (ICSE) the option of taking or not taking the offline exams. The exams were supposed to start on May 4, 2021. The CISCE, like the CBSE, will settle on the exam's schedule in June. While the date of the class 12 exams will be determined later, the class 10 exams will be optional.
Students in classes 10 to 12 in schools affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will be assessed during the year, and marks earned in exams and projects, such as unit tests, half-yearly examinations, and annual examinations, will be tabulated simultaneously by the school and the Council to assist the latter in computing the ICSE and ISC mark sheet should offline examinations be cancelled due to the pandemic.
According to the CBSE, internal evaluation is worth 20 points, while year-end board exams are worth 80 points. The 80 marks awarded to students by CBSE-affiliated schools will be based on the candidate's results in various tests/exams held by the school during the year, and the marks should be consistent with the school's previous performance in CBSE Class 10 Board exams.
in terms of the CISCE ISC Class 12 Board Exam 2021, a final decision about how the exam will be conducted will be made by the first week of June.
