National Overseas Scholarship provided by Karnataka Government for Minority Community Students

Conducted by the Directorate of Minorities, Karnataka Government, the financial aid applies to graduates, undergraduates and PhD students of domicile of Karnataka who are also members of the Minority Community. Specialists selected under this program can get a financial help of maximum amount to INR 20 Lakh with a time period of 2 years for pursuing higher education in foreign countries.

Overseas Scholarship Scheme of Karnataka Government for SC / ST Students

The Karnataka study program is designed for Karnataka students in the SC / ST category to allow them to pursue their master's and other PhD degrees to educate them in foreign. Operating under the Karnataka State Department of Social Development, the program provides 100% financial aid to selected students for their foreign education programs.

An incentive for Students of SSLC & 2nd PUC of Karnataka

The incentive program is being run by the Department of Social Development, Directorate of Minorities, Karnataka Government to assist small community students. Students who have passed class 10 (SSLC) and class 12 (2nd PUC) with a score of 85% or more in the examinations held by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board or the Department of Pre-University Education will receive benefits under this incentive program.

Top 1000 SSLC students and top 1000 2nd PUC students of this small community can win a one-time incentive of INR 10,000 and INR 20,000 respectively.

Pre-Matric Karnataka Scholarship for Minorities

The curriculum is offered by the Directorate of Minorities, Karnataka Government to motivate students from small communities to continue their education without worrying about their financial conditions. Students in the 1st to 10th grade who scored 50% or more in the previous exam may apply for this course. Student fees include admission fees, tuition fees, and maintenance fees.

Post-Matric Karnataka Scholarship for Minorities

The Karnataka Scholarship aims to motivate and help students with financial assistance in the junior state community to allow them to continue their studies at the postgraduate level. It applies mainly to students of communities such as Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parses, and Jains, the bursary usually pays for admission, maintenance, and tuition fees. Students in the 11th grade to Ph.D. The standard is eligible to apply for this course.


Phil and Ph.D. Fellowship of Karnataka Government for Minority Students

With the aim of providing financial aid to the smaller community of Karnataka state, the program has been launched by the Karnataka Government. Students of the Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, and Parsi community who want to study MPhil and Ph.D. are welcome to apply for this course.

Merit-Cum-Means Karnataka Scholarship for Minorities

This is a popular course for students from small communities who are willing to do art or technology courses. Conducted by the Directorate of Minorities, Government of Karnataka, the bursary offers up to INR 30,000 awards to students who defend more than 50% of the previous exam and have an annual family income of less than INR 2.5 Lakh.

Samagra Shikshana of Karnataka Fellowship

Powered by the Department of Education, Karnataka Government, this participatory program is applicable to students with postgraduate / professional / any other degree in Social Sciences or Social Policy with relevant work experience of 3 to 10 years. Selected partners will receive a monthly total of INR 70,000 for the duration of the relationship.

  • SC or ST community students can apply.

  • Students must have a certificate of admission for a graduate or higher degree from any world-renowned university.

  • The subject streams that fall under this course are Humanities, Pure Sciences & applied sciences, International Commerce, Agriculture Sciences & Medicines, Engineering & Management, Social Science & Law, Accounting Finance, etc.

  • The marks obtained by the applicant at the previous level must be 60% or equal.

  • The candidate must be over 35 years old on June 1 each year.

  • Applicants for a full-time Ph.D. program under research guidance from a Karnataka university or institution can apply.

  • The minimum percentage of marks obtained in a master's degree program must be 55%.

  • The age of the candidate must not be more than 35 years.

  • You must also meet the method of earning money as defined.

  • You must be part of the Minority community (Parses, Jains, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, and Sikhs).

  • You must have passed grade 10 or 12 with a mark of 85% or higher.

  • This program is applicable to students of small community organizations.

  • The percentage of marks obtained by a student in the previous year's examination must be more than 50%. (Not applicable to first-grade students)

  • Students living in Karnataka but studying abroad may apply.

  • Students from other regions studying in Karnataka cannot apply.

  • The applicant's family income should not exceed INR 1 Lakh from all sources.
