BIJU SWASTHYA KALYAN YOJANA

Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana could be a scheme of the govt of Odisha/Orissa, that aims to supply universal health coverage, with special stress on the health protection of economically vulnerable families. To realize its objectives, the BSKY has 2 components:

A. Free health services for all (irrespective of financial gain, standing or residence) altogether authorities health care facilities ranging from Sub centre level to District Head Quarter and Government Medical school Hospital and Blood bank level.

B. Further facility of free care beyond District Headquarters Hospital and Government Medical school Hospital level, for over seventy Lakhs economically vulnerable families within the State, who are provided Annual Health coverage of Rs. five lakhs per family and Rs. ten lakhs for the ladies members of the family.

Eligibility For Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana

A. All families are eligible for gratis health care services at Government health care establishments to District Head Quarter Hospital and Government Medical school Hospital and blood bank level.

B. With the added facility of free care beyond District Headquarters hospital level, through annual health coverage of Rs. five lakhs every year per family and Rs. ten lakhs every year for ladies members of the family, all presently registered Biju Krushak Kalyan Yojana cardholders, BPL cardholders and Antodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) cardholders and families with an annual financial gain below Rs. 50,000/- in rural areas and below Rs. 60,000/- in urban areas are eligible and for Cardiac, Kidney and Cancer patients below Rs. 3 lakhs every year.

Benefits of Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana

 A. All health services are freed from value, together with free drugs, free diagnostics, free dialysis, free Cancer chemotherapy, free OT, free I.C.U, free in-patient admission free blood bank services etc.., altogether government health establishments up to Government Medical school Hospital level, for all persons.

B. Families having BKKY card, BPL Card, AAY Card or annual financial gain of Rs 50,000/- in rural areas and Rs. 60,000/- in urban areas will avail cashless treatment in all Government Hospitals and Premier Institute outside the state, and 194 empanelled Private Hospitals.

In which hospital will the beneficiaries get free treatment?

 A. underneath universal health coverage free health care to all or any publically Health Care establishments from Sub-centre to District Head Quarters Hospitals and Government Medical school Hospital and Blood bank.

B. BKKY, BPL, AAY cardholders and low financial gain certificate holders will avail the further facility of cashless treatment beyond Government Medical school Hospital level, in all Government and Premier Institutes outside the State and 194 empanelled Private health care establishments.

Enrollment

 All registered families lined underneath BKKY Stream I & II, BPL and Antodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) cardholders are auto-enrolled underneath this scheme. Those families who have low financial gain however don't have any of those cards will get profit underneath BSKY by getting an Income certificate for annual financial gain below Rs. 50,000/- in rural areas and below Rs. 60,000/- in urban areas.

Required Documents

For obtaining Rs. five lakhs of health coverage every year per family and Rs. ten lakhs health coverage every year for ladies members of the family, the present Biju Krushak Kalyan Yojana (Stream I & II) BPL or AAY cards ought to be made at the empanelled hospital.

For low-income families who don't have these cards, a valid financial gain certificate (annual financial gain below Rs. 50,000/- in rural areas and below Rs. 60,000/- in urban areas) is to be made at the empanelled hospital, for availing cashless treatment.
