PMJAY Urban:

According to the National Sample Survey Organization (71st round), 82% of urban families have no insurance or guarantee. In addition, 18% of Indians in urban areas face the cost of health care by borrowing money in some way. Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana is helping these families access health care by donating up to Rs. 5 lakh per family, per year. 7. Those in charge of refrigerators and wiring harnesses

8. Those with decent, sturdy housing

9. Those who own 5 hectares or more of agricultural land

Rs. 5 lakh insurance offered by the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya program can be used not only by individuals but also by families. This lump sum is sufficient to cover both 25 specialized medical and surgical procedures including cardiology, neurosurgery, oncology, paediatrics, orthopedics, etc. However, medical and surgical expenses cannot be reimbursed simultaneously.

If more surgery is required, the highest cost is paid first followed by a 50% discount on the second and a 25% discount on the third. Unlike other health insurance schemes, there is no time to wait for existing diseases under the PMJAY program, which falls under the great umbrella program of Ayushman Bharat Yojana. There is no special Ayushman Bharat registration process related to PMJAY. This is because PMJAY applies to all beneficiaries as identified by SECC 2011 and those who are already part of the RSBY program. However, here is how you can determine if you are eligible to be a PMJAY beneficiary.

Once you qualify for PMJAY benefits, you can work on getting an e-card. Prior to the issuance of this card, your identity is verified in the PMJAY store with the help of a document such as your Aadhaar card or assignment card.

Proof of family identification that can be produced includes a certified government list of members, a letter from the PM, and an RSBY card. Once verification is complete, the e-card is printed with a unique AB-PMJAY ID. You can use this as evidence anytime in the future.

Steps to Test Your Name on AB-PMJAY 2020 list

Checking your name on the AB-PMJAY 2020 list is very easy. There are three different ways to do this.

Visit the Common Service Center (CSC): You can visit the nearest CSC or any skilled hospital to check if you are eligible for the PMJAY program or not.

Contact Helpline: The PMJAY app lets you check your eligibility by calling the helpline 14555 or 1800-111-565.

Visit the PMJAY website: By visiting the official PMJAY website (www.pmjay.gov.in), you can check your eligibility for the program.

About Ayushman Bharat Yojana Card

PMJAY beneficiaries can receive free financial assistance without any dynamic hospital using the Ayushman Bharat Yojana card. Beneficiaries are given a card at the time of registration. This card contains all your required information and you are required to provide it when you receive medical treatment under the plan.

To get the Ayushman Bharat Yojana Card, follow the steps below:

Sign in with your registered contact number

Enter the captcha code and generate an OTP (One-Time-Password)

Select HHD code

Provide the correct HHD code to the Common Service Center (CSC)
